Mirna Estrada's professional journey is shaped by her academic achievements and extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. With a BA in Psychology from the University of Alaska and a Masters in Communications and Cognition from the University of Copenhagen, Mirna has cultivated a deep understanding of human behavior and communication.

Her track record in the nonprofit sector spans various roles, including positions at United Way, Anchorage Downtown Partnership, and the State of Alaska. As an AmeriCorps alumna and former staff member of the Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services program of Catholic Social Services, Mirna has demonstrated her commitment to serving vulnerable populations and fostering community development.

Mirna's education and diverse experiences have equipped her with the skills and perspective needed to drive positive change in Anchorage's vibrant community. Through her dedication to nonprofit work and community engagement, Mirna remains steadfast in her mission to create a more inclusive and resilient Anchorage for all residents.
